OKAY, I actually scanned the “report”. ALL the data is presented in PERCENTAGES. No hard numbers anywhere in the document. Statements like this abound: “The aggregate excess death rate from March 2020 to December 2021 was 10.3 percentage points. The paper clouds the issue with percentages, give me hard numbers, unless the intent is to “mislead” the reader.
Remember 10% of 100 is a hell of a lot different than 10% of 1000. BUT it’s still 10%.
The report “claims” Repubs are being taken out by Covid because we are Refuseniks, the REAL numbers are never expressed.
Makes sense. Republicans went about their daily lives while Democrats stayed home. It doesn’t surprise me Republicans lost more people during the coronavirus time than Democrats did. Plus our electorate is older.
