The U.S. is developing a plan of response to any potential use of nuclear weapons by Russia, U.S. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said in an interview with CNN on Oct. 3.
“We are following this as closely as we can,” Kirby said.
“And we haven't seen anything that would make us change our strategic posture of containment. So I think you know that we take these threats seriously.”

I would think this is something that the Pentagon is always doing “Game Theory” over.
Because they’re fake Conservatives. They are “Lindsay Grahams”.

Most have connections back there, at least from what I can see from their posting histories - and certainly the main characters. As far as Ukraine goes, they’re simultaneously telling us that Putin is a crazy madman, but also sane enough to know not to use nukes.
How they live with that is something only a Leftist can understand.
For you to casually brush off current events, and suggest this planning is routine, shows sane people the degree is political naivete and corruption among Republican conservatives.

Tucker Carlson is hypothesizing that OUR regime has decided on regime change in Russia and are responsible for blowing up the pipelines. He further proposes that they are goading Putin into using theater nuclear weapons so that they can justify their actions. It is a very dangerous game, if true. At this point in time, it is impossible to determine what the truth is.
There is no contingencies - They use nuclear weapons - we die bottom line. There is no winning in a nuclear war.
I am hardly brushing off current events. This is Game Theory. It’s what the Pentagon does.

No one will admit that, so I don’t know. But I know two with personal connections back there. Likely more if I dug around further.
I think Putin thinks they are getting ready to set up a false flag nuke event to blame on Russia.

Yes I saw Tuckers monolog last night. Ukraine and the US have stepped up their game and are now calling for the a regime change in Russia.
He also pointed out how that worked in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan to name a few. And slso whose hands may any one of those 6,000 nukes fall into if there is a coup.
Sometimes the disease is better that the cure.
