“I hope that at some point there will be an end to the crisis, which will bring peace to Europe and, hopefully, will return some of the Russian gas to support Europe. If you look at the situation, it will be very difficult for Europe to withstand zero supplies of Russian gas for more than two winters. Many countries and companies have approached us, and I have consistently said the same thing: “Europe has always depended on Russia as the main supplier through pipelines”... There will be some LNG coming from the US and from other places… But, in the end, this is a small volume compared to the huge volume that comes from Russia,” Qatar’s Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi said.

Most of the blame for high energy prices and the complete destruction of the European green policy lies with the governments of the EU countries, Europe cannot do without gas from Russia,” insists Saad al-Kaabi.

This is not good....

The end of the lockdowns in China could eventually lead to the depletion of world oil reserves.

Writes about it Bloomberg.

The agency also reports that in the near future, recovering demand in China may significantly increase the price of oil.

I”m no fan of Putin, but he still has some cards to play. His most dangerous ones at that.

Cue the meme of Cleavon Little as the Sheriff in "Blazing Saddles" pointing a revolver at his own head.

The other is the interpretation that I have advocated, that Russia is massing for a winter escalation and offensive, and is currently engaged in a calculated trade wherein they give up space in exchange for time and Ukrainian casualties.

Yes, and as soon as Steiner's army breaks through and demolishes the encirclement of Berlin, the Führer will emerge triumphant!

Clinical levels of delusion there!

Probably the best Ally ever.

I think they are going to be a great ally. They won't soon forget all the help the US gave them.

And by the time this war is over, they will probably have one of the top 10 militaries in the world. And the most seasoned. They will be a great addition to NATO.

At least it is smaller now. The Soviet Empire had a population of 400 million and Russia is 150 million.

The calls to just surrender to their whims are even stranger now.
