The people being forcibly conscripted barely know which end of a gun the bullet comes out of, let alone replace regular troops .

And it gets very complicated when one tries to justify a criminal invasion using a variety of idiotic Moscow talking points. The crimes Russia has committed in the Donbas have not yet come to full light. But from my family and friends there I know they are horrific.

2- Not that I would know. I certainly am not an expert. But, from the thoughtful messages & posts I received I have not discerned any multi-identity Freepers.

Putin invaded with his long-planned “Special Military Operation.”
This is Putin’s pattern of “Transnistrian” policy as he has also controls ‘zones’ of frozen conflicts in Moldova (Transnistria region), Georgia (Abkhazia and South Ossetia), and now with in Ukraine annexed Crimean peninsula and the Donbas.
Putin uses this wider pattern of “created” separatist conflicts to create corruption and criminality as ‘Trojan horses’ to block progress in reform-minded periphery countries. This is the Putin tactical part of his geopolitical strategy that creats conflict zones to prevent countries from entering NATO and integrating into the European Union. CONFLICTS in these by Putin ispart of his ‘imperialistic plan’ to regain strategic points of the LOST EMPIRE.
This means Putin must fully separate occupied parts of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts from Ukraine and recognize them as Donbas puppet republics just like Georgia’s Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
2. Putin has enslaved the Russian population.

I never saw a hint of that when I was working there. Putin had huge support, popularity, and even now enjoys a 85 percent plus approval rating. Much like Trump, strong, takes care of his citizens first, and does what he says he will.

As to the term Neocon, if the shoe fits... The term Neocon is in Wikipedia, along with A PICTURE of the Queen of Neocons, Victoria Neuland, the person who DIRECTLY CAUSED this war, by overthrowing the Ukrainian government.

I think there are PLENTY of pro-Ukrainian people here, and they are proud of it. Calling someone pro-Putin is a bit dicier - as there are PLENTY of Putin-haters here that simply don’t think it’s worth starting WW3 over Ukraine - yet they all get lumped together by the Neocon supporters here.

There are a number of people who certainly revel in the deaths of Russians, any Russians. They seem to view Russians no differently that Nazis viewed Jews nearly 100 years ago. If you don’t mind, I can send private notes pointing them out as they celebrate the deaths of Russians. You’re welcome to do the same regarding people celebrating the deaths of Ukrainians, if you manage to find any here.

I would agree regarding the Chinese, but I don’t see Russians being treated by their government any worse than conservatives are treated by the Biden Administration (with Bannon being sent up the river being the latest, not to mention DC Central or parents complaining at school board meetings). Overall, I’d say that Putin’s level of support in Russia far outstrips Biden, so just who is ‘enslaved’?
