Lawmakers look to pass massive Ukraine aid package before a new, redder Congress meets in January

Amid concerns that a new Congress could take a more skeptical view of aid to Ukraine, lawmakers from both parties are looking to lock in billions of dollars in military assistance to Kyiv before newly elected members are sworn in in January, according to a lawmaker and congressional staffers.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, who is poised to take over as speaker if the GOP wins a majority in the House in the November midterm elections, warned this week that his fellow party members are “not going to write a blank check to Ukraine.”

The new aid package, which most likely would be part of an omnibus spending bill, could be within the range of roughly $50 billion, congressional aides and a source close to the Ukraine government said. The Biden administration has not yet made a formal request for new funding.

And there goes another $50bn of hard earned US tax dollars to Zelenskyy, to be distributed to the corrupt political elite who pose as our betters.

A special thanks to Kevin McCarthy for giving Biden his game plan, and also to our very own Ukraine cheerleaders who helped to empower Demented Joe.

Oh, if it were only just a money laundering pit. Unfortunately, it is also a quagmire that is likely to lead to WW III. Confronting the Ukes with a possibility of great reductions in our spending is the most effective way possible to get them to the bargaining table and to agree to some kind of a settlement that will work adequately for everyone.

Tragically, we are blundering into something almost like the beginning of World War I, where each party was so totally self-righteous that it could not see any possible virtue to the other’s position. Thus the Austrians and Russians blundered into a totally unnecessary war that devastated Western Civilization. The horror to come will make World War I look like a little girl’s garden party.

So the globalist commies gave away $130 billion of our money and all I got was a twitter flag.

Ukes apparently are on the run today in Kherson [in yet another ‘incredibly important’ city I’ve never heard of until 2 minutes ago], where they were supposedly ‘winning the war’. I doubt there will be much of a Uke left by Halloween.

So bish$t pissed away hundreds of billions in 2 wars in a single year and lost both in the most incompetent way possible. Now that’s what I call brilliance!

The Ukraine is best known as the “official U.S. Congressional Laundry Mat”.
It’s where hard-earned, U.S. taxpayer dollars go in, and multi-millionaire UniParty hacks come out.
There’s a whole host of folks in DC that should be arrested, tried, sentenced and publicly hanged.

So Democrats are admitting massive defeat in November, I guess Democrats should not waste their time even voting now.

McCarthy’s a genious.

I thought he was just stupid and demonstrating a lack of values in threatening the Ukraine aid.

But he’s prompted Congress to rush another $50 billion through.

Way to go McCarthy!!!!

I just wish I knew that this was what he intended.

"It seems that it may be cheaper to buy Russia ..."

After seeing how little income in US $ that people in the various ..stans make, I've often wondered just how much would it cost to buy a ..stan.

For example in Kazakhistan the average annual income is $3250. The population is 19 million. So that's $61.8 billion a year.

Of course if you're going to spend that kind of money, you need to be able to recoup your investment some way. I'm not sure if chicken farming will do it.

Welp, an answer was given a couple days ago.
