Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL), who is challenging Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in Florida’s gubernatorial race, appears to be fundraising on the assertion that DeSantis “utterly failed to respond” to Hurricane Ian.
“Folks, DeSantis utterly failed to respond to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian,” a Crist fundraising email, shared by the DeSantis War Room, reads. “Hurricane Ian was a devastating storm that required REAL leadership — something that DeSantis is incapable of,” the email continues, asking to find 362 Americans “willing to agree with Charlie” and ultimately force DeSantis to “reckon” with his supposed failures:

Charlie is going to lose by ten points.
Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse lives in the affected area and has thoroughly documented the incredible restoration and construction efforts. A bridge that was initially thought to take MONTHS to rebuild was done in less than ten days.
All these no-can-do pathetic and worthless Democrats can do is name-calling and hurling empty accusations.
I saw his press conferences prior to Ian. He spoke off the cuff with specific and thorough details about staging people and equipment to start work right after the storm passed. He sounded as prepared as possible. If it did not play out that way in reality, give us specifics Mr Christ. Otherwise it just looks like lying/gaslighting to sway the low information voters.
Let’s check out the margin of victory in SWFL. It will be overwhelming.
I had roof damage and two large oak trees uprooted in my yard. Neither Charlie Crist nor any democRAT has shown up to help me. I am on my own with money left over after burdensome taxes. Charlie is just out there trying to show school children what a Dog Faced Pony Soldier looks like when naked sunbathing.
Crist utterly failed to tell the truth.
Well, DeSantis had at least 2 weeks to stop Ian on its tracks, and would have stopped it from even forming in the Atlantic, if he had taken a giant fan with him to blow it away from the U.S.
Once it had formed and entered the Caribbean and Golf of Mexico, DeSantis could have built a wall to stop it from entering Florida.
Thus, DeSantis failed miserably.
Crist would have stopped all hurricanes by putting climate change legislation on fast-forward.
This is what desperation looks like.

yup- had a reunion a few weeks ago and caught up with someone who is a far left liar from Florida. Told me they had been “on the west coast helping with the hurricane recovery.” Then told me they had “sent over 10,000 body bags.”
They know i’m a huge conservative and i said, “there are not 10,000 dead people.” The response was, “they’ll be at least 1000 dead people.”
All along you could tell this person was hoping for lots of dead Floridians, solely for the purposes of embarrassing Gov DeSantis.
From my vantage from many states away, I observed good preparation, good and adaptive response, good emergency communication during widely changing threats, and then what we see today, good recovery following astonishing damage.
Only the Dems would fake an undeserved criticism on a subject about which politics should take a vacation.
Deceit.
It's the Dems' middle name.
The Bush-Rove Hurricane Machine was activated to take out DeSantis.
