we give it maybe a year or two before it goes ballistic
MIRV bullets? Hmmm...might work in Dove hunting.
It’s a modified CrossFit workout...

Such limits are never intended to "work".
They are just another tool to use for harassing and persecuting gun owners. Particularly middle-class and otherwise law-abiding gun owners. Government officials really do not want ordinary citizens to have firearms for any reason at all. The peasants might actually refuse orders from a government official for some reason or other.
They do not have enough minions to enforce their orders consistently, so they must be very selective in their efforts. Make yourself conspicuous and they will come after you with an over-the-top show of force and maximum publicity. Terror tactics is how they roll.
High-ranking Democrats and members of the violent criminal underclass will be effectively exempted from such rules, and any relevant charges will be dropped. This is what already happens today under current restrictions. Expect more of the same.
On April 16, 2007, 32 people died after being gunned down on the campus of Virginia Tech by Seung-Hui Cho...
If I remember correctly he only used magazines limited to 10 rounds.
Miss Mouthpiece Jean Pierre: The President is busy man, and he loves the Beatles and the song 8 days a week was on his mind!
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

The Edmond post office shooter used two 1911 .45 cal pistols with magazines that held 7 rounds.
How many in a square?
A former co-worker of mine was shot dead off his tractor last week by a deputy sheriff.
He was shooting on his own land when someone called the law.
He only had one good hand and they shot him for “brandishing” a firearm.
I thought about getting as many photos of men on tractors and sending them to the County Sheriff to use as target practice.
M1-Garand? Ping (PUN INTENDED)
Nice! :)
8 bullets in a round.
Would that be Triple-ought 12ga buckshot?
8 bullets in a round eh? So, 8 bullets per round, 15 rounds per magazine. That’s 40 bullets per magazine.
I can definitely live with that as a bare minimum.
Given it’s a .45 acp that would weigh a lot.
= = =
Well, it used to.
With a non-lead mandate, the weight might be reduced.
Plastic bullets perhaps.
The number doesn’t matter, Plugs…
Just -NO!
We have a GOD-GIVEN RIGHT to defend ourselves against those who wish to do us harm.
PERIOD.
Actually, POTATUS, full auto weapons are legal in the majority of states, you effin' moron. But, of course, your SS guards, all of your fed goons have them, along with those black Chicago 8th grade graduates, but you don't want us peasants to have them.
Eight bullets in a round? That’s an upgrade from one bullet per round… I accept!
8 bullets in a round...wow, some ammo company has invented MIRVs for handguns and rifles! Now we don’t have to go all the way to the gun show to buy a big and unwieldy Minuteman III ICBM to get our own F15-deliverable MIRVs, we can just buy them anywhere. Fantastic, glad to hear that news!
Just so long as the NFA doesn’t apply, I’m pretty happy. :>)
