I just don’t understand, how is voting for Republicans, or candidates other than Democrats from minor parties, somehow a threat to democracy?
What’s with this talking point, that “Democracy is on the ballot”? What’s with Obama saying in Arizona that if Republicans win there, that democracy itself will be defeated in Arizona??
How is it, that voting in free and fair elections, for the “wrong” candidate, is somehow NOT exercising one’s choice in a free and fair election?
How is it, that we have to vote Democrat, otherwise, democracy itself will die in darkness, as the Washington Post has been telling us???
We are urged to vote, but if you vote the “wrong” way, per the liberals, then our system of government itself is destroyed???

Everyone is aware that social media (all the free ones) is selling you. You are the product, i.e. your information is sold.
But all the free media (TV, radio, internet news, etc) is just selling. They are free because they are selling, and that includes political issues.
The issue is that what we call news has also become sales, i.e. the new Tesla, IPhone, a Disney ride are out, have you taken your flu vaccine? Likewise, when they are talking politics, they are selling. Folks assume there should be objectivity, neutrality... Who says? It’s a private business and they are into selling...
