President Joe Biden used a speech in Pennsylvania on Saturday to urge voters to support John Fetterman (D), pledging the U.S. Senate candidate would help him secure an “assault weapons” ban.
Biden said, “But here’s the deal: Public safety is why John got into public service in the first place. Oz won’t do a thing about guns. But John Fetterman will veto — with your votes, John Fetterman will be in the Senate and be able to help me add one more thing — what I got done when I was a senator: ban assault weapons.”

First time Biden’s been truthful in a long time. As far as Federman goes, it’s a vote. that’s all that matters.
Letterman will vote the way he is told. He is a warm body without the ability to question what he was told to do.
One retard helping another.
Because no one in PA has firearms. Lol.
It's ALL about the economy
Intellectual equals, Fetterman and Biden. Both career politicians and believe in government POWER. You may hate Oz, but at least he is intelligent and build a business empire. What have Fetterman and Biden (or Obama) contributed to the private sector? NOTHING.
Fetterman = abortion, abortion, abortion - made sweeter by having the deplorables pay for them. That will get out the Democrat base like nothing else. Well, that and taking away the deplorables’ guns while letting gangsters out of prison so they can rampage through the cities.
Because that is the seat they have to win to keep the senate close.
If they are talking about “assault weapon bans” this late in the game…they are merely trying to keep it close.
Where “they” are this weekend tells you more than you need to know.
He has clearly observable "issues" with simple cognition, and it's a sad thing.
Might he be "shown the door" early on, and replaced with an even farther leftist?
I do not know, of course, but it's a reasonable question.
Democrats.
Deceit is their middle name.
“C’mon, folks, look at John. He is what somebody looks like after being shot in the head. Poor John….”
Two men who have never held a real job.
How many times have "assault" weapons been banned at the federal and state level?
If you already wrote the legislation to ban them, and the resolution passed, then why pass more laws banning "assault" weapons?
Or is "assault" weapons not the end game here?
There's a need for another?
Assuming that we win control of one or both houses of Congress, Tuesday, I see the push for ‘Assault’ weapons ban coming in the lame-duck session. They’ll have to play some parliamentary tricks to get past the 60-vote Senate threshold, but I’ll bet they’ll have some bitter RINOs join them.
One of the problems with losing one’s mind is losing the ability to understand what to say and what not to say in a particular situation.
In the case of gun control in a purple state, the first rule of being a Democrat is to support it (of course), but the second rule, in a purple or red state, is to NEVER talk about it near election day, since it loses FAR MORE votes than draws in, as gun control is a single-issue for most gun owners, and many of them vote Democrat, at least until reminded of what the Democrats intend to do with their guns.
Back when he was a mayor, Fetterman grabbed a shotgun and ran after an innocent black jogger.
So here’s my question. While Biden’s new gun laws ban fools from grabbing a shotgun, and then threatening innocent blacks?
If not, I think it should. They could even call it the “Protect People From Fetterman” Bill.
And the award for “The Threat To Democracy” goes to the Democrats . . .
I see after the debate that Fetterman is trying to sell himself after the 51st vote. His way of say I know you are now aware that I am a vegetable but I still have a hand that can cast the 51st vote.
