Former President Trump said on Tuesday that he voted for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in the state’s gubernatorial race.
After casting his vote in Palm Beach, Fla., Trump told reporters that he voted for the Florida governor, who is widely seen as his biggest competition to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.
Days earlier, Trump took at jab at DeSantis at a rally in Pennsylvania, dubbing the Florida governor “Ron DeSanctimonious.” However, the former president encouraged Florida voters to support DeSantis just one day later at a rally in Miami.
Trump also hinted on Tuesday that he may announce his campaign for president on Nov. 15. The former president has frequently teased a campaign announcement in the final weeks of the midterm elections.

Trump needs to tread carefully re mocking DeSantis. Many (most?) of Trump’s supporters also love DeSantis and don’t want him to be knocked down by our side, we ALL need to work together to rebuild America. It doesn’t have to be the work of just one man, and it can’t be.

Lot of problems with the 2020 election, but Florida was not for the first time in decades. Ron has done a great job of draining the Broward county swamp.
Two of my favorite teachers happened to be Italian ladies. They were tough on the outside but then alone after class for extra help they were softies. (Also wrote nice things on my report cards that didn’t hurt) :)

I like him as a governor but it will quickly change if he challenges or becomes a threat to Trump.
The “DeSanctimonious” thing was a misfire, and I hope DJT retires it. Who the hell on our side wants these two feuding?
I agree! Trump needs to zip it when it comes to criticizing DeSantis. There’s no need for it.
They love to come on here with ridiculous names that tell you all about how they’re so sick of Trump being mean and Desantis needs to be the pick for 2024 and not a trump!!
But NO, they hate Desantis too, but they MUST drive the narrative that Trump and Desantis are at pods with each other. I’ve been watching this since January.
The goal is to divide Trump’s base to crush all conservatives.
