Democrats are set to take control of Michigan’s Senate seats for the first time in four decades, winning a “trifecta” of power over both chambers in the state legislature and the governor’s mansion in Tuesday’s midterms.

Michigan Senate Democrats announced early Wednesday morning that they had won enough seats to take the majority in the state’s upper chamber.

Thanks to the Dobbs decision. Be careful what you wish for as the latter is now worse than the former.

Michigan is stuck on retard

~~~
The blue states without election protections are getting bluer. The bluer they get, the more they will institutionalize the systems that gave them power.
The sad thing is, the currently red states that have safe elections are not garaunteed to stay red because the elections are actually fair there, and sometimes republicans lose organically. Once the fraudsters get a foothold in a red state, the transition will begin.
This is a plague of corruption.
2024 is the last chance to stop it.
Those Republican state senators were so bad, I’m glad they lost.
I'm in Michigan, it wasn't rigged. The Dems were in the doldrums prior to the Dobbs decision. That poked the bear and lit a fire like I've never seen. We own that one.
Accepting the perversion to the Constitution that was Roe v Wade was never an option. Regardless of the consequences.
And public ignorance over what Dobbs meant cannot be worked around.
I guess it didn’t help, but I can see most of these people coming out to vote for abortion even without Dobbs.
The chance to stop was Ted Kennedy’s first Senatorial election. The 1965 immigration change set into motion the disasters that followed.
Okay. I don’t live in Michigan. Where I do live, proabortionists came out to vote in big numbers even before Dobbs.
We had a specific proposal regarding legalizing abortion once and for all on the ballot. Dobbs was the catalyst for it. There was zero enthusiasm for Whitmer up until that point.
