Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Wednesday on FNC’s “Your World” that there was no red wave because voters feared former President Donald Trump and the candidates he endorsed were extremists.
Sununu said, “There was clearly no red wave. I’m not going to predict what comes out of President Biden’s mouth because I don’t think anybody, even he, can predict that at times. But clearly, America stood up and said, look, inflation is important, but we don’t think the Republicans that wanted to go to Washington are the short-term fix for that right now. More than anything, America said we know we have to fix policy, but we’re going to fix extremism first. That’s the message I took. Not that Republicans were successful, but by and large, the most extreme republicans got voted out.”

What’s your alternative? Libertarians, for example, are mostly spoilers and can help throw elections. Just look at what the Libertarian did to Walker in Georgia. Without the Libertarian in that race, we might have our 51st GOP Senator.

I’d like to know exactly what “extremism” Sununu and the other detractors pf Trump are referring to. Trying to build a border wall? Pushing back against unfettered globalism? I really can’t think of anything Trump did or proposed that could be considered “extremism”.
Trump endorses Ted Budd over other candidates early in NC and he wins easily
Trump endorses Vance and has Vance begging him to campaign for him in Ohio and Vance wins easily.
In those two states Republicans lost 7 swing districts that’s not a Trump problem that’s a Us Chamber of Commerce Kevin McCarthy problem
