Charles Hurt had an interesting take on the coming DeSantis/Trump competition.
Brett Baier asked him yesterday what he thought of Trumps long tweet about DeSantis. Hurt just smiled and said this is gonna be clash of the titans and one man will come out stronger and win. Whoever that ends up being will be that much stronger of a competitior in the general election.
In other words, stop freaking out about Trumps treatment of DeSantis. Let them go at it, best man wins and will end up with massive support as a result.
We always hear the theory that a blood bath in the primary weakens the eventual nominee....but that really never happens, quite the opposite.
Sit back, enjoy the ride and let the best man win.

get offended, take their vote, and not cast it on Election Day.
Across the board, probably not, but one or two percent can make you or
break you. It also caries over into future elections.
