Nevada Republican Adam Laxalt's lead over incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., has shrunk to fewer than 9,000 votes as officials are still counting mail-in ballots in the state's largest counties.
The latest updates from Clark and Washoe counties have put Laxalt just 8,988 votes over Cortez Masto, less than 1% of the total vote. Election officials said Wednesday that ballot counting will continue through next week, but the majority of the ballots could be counted by today.
Officials explained that mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day but can arrive as late as Saturday to be counted. Election officials have been flooded with thousands of them since Tuesday as the margins between Cortez Masto and Laxalt remain tight.

The death of a Republic, by mail-in voting.
We all know how this story ends...
so does the corrution extend to USPS forging postmarks? and what is the penalty for forging postmarks?
You have to get caught first. And if the DOJ is not looking, it's hard to get caught.
On Steve Bannon’s War Room this morning he his regular pollster wo his keeping track of all this and it was reported that Laxalt is now behind with little hope of catching and basically said the Democrats would likely sweep the remaining races for Secretary of State, Senator with the Governor’s race the only one with a chance to go Republican.
It’s not going to go anywhere until the GOP can win back statehouses and state legislatures to put laws in place.
Until then, we need to use it to our advantage as well.
The pattern, every f.’n time, a close race always goes to the rat within a few days. Every. Damn .Time.
For voters in remote rural counties, early and mail-in voting is viable as it protects voters from having to drive miles to cast a ballot. However, from those that live in more densely populated areas, there is no need for early and mail in voting.
Mail in is the #1 voting method here now. Option to hand deliver and option to in person vote. We in person voted and destroyed our mail in ballots rather than letting the state do it. Guessing by next week the lead will shrink away. That’s why it’s NevaDUH! 😯
Hey, rural votes are you know ... the ones they want to block.
We really need an Internet-based voting system that has a ton of security. Bio-metric login, etc. And unhackable. You’d think in this day and age we’d have it. Then we’d have results in seconds after the polls close. Of course the media would hate not having late night election shows, but it would certainly help and if done right, could eliminate fraud. Has to be a way.
Just read here that a ton of “republican” ballots were found in Nevade and now we learn they boosted the Socialist RAT’s numbers. Figures. The Stalinist Socialist RATS are some kind of counting fools. Must be those Head Start and Kindergarten diplomas.
We had mail-in ballots, filled them in, and we hand delivered them to the Election Registrar office, days before Nov 8th. We made them verify signatures in our presence.
Of course his lead is shrinking. Why do you think it’s taking so long to count the votes? Math is hard?
Driving miles to cast a vote is a small price to pay for reducing vote fraud.
My drive is 20 minutes and then stand in line for whatever time it takes.
Voting should require some effort.
Here’s why democrats beat republicans. Sleaze ball RINOs like Porky Pig
Rove millions to democrats.

We don’t have it because that kills the massive cheat machine the rats have spent years building. There’s no road back at this point.
Anyone with a postage meter can set it to whatever date they want.
It don’t matter …I bet McConnell is very happy to be in the minority group! He was the first one that came out saying we had no chance! So my hopes are dashed either way …the Senate is gone. Evil in this world always always triumph! God willing we’ll hang on to win the house…hopefully🙏🏻
