The number of people who signed up for health insurance through HealthCare.gov jumped by 40 percent compared to last year, President Biden said on Friday.

“Right now, four out of five folks who sign up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act can get healthcare coverage for $10 a month or less. These lower rates were set to expire on Jan. 1 of this coming year, but instead we were able to extend them,” Biden said during remarks addressing business and labor leaders.

It’s basically Medicaid. Nobody pays much of nothing

You can’t get individualized health insurance anymore. Thanks to Obama, I purchased short term BCBS of KC until I was old enough for Medicare. And, thanks to Obama, years ago I had to drop BCBS and go to my company’s crappy insurance since, before BCBS stopped individual insurance, the prices sky rocketed.

Self employed here.

My wife and I, for a high deductible plan, will pay $1,800/m.

Thanks a lot, Obama.

Bait and switch.
After everyone signs up price doubles and coverage gets cut

I signed up last year. One of the buttons on the enrollment was for race. I paid $700 a month for a $8,000 deductible plan. It is even higher this year.

These stories make me really glad I have VA care - not the best but it seems like it is now better than a lot of other things!

so if one is a bum and eschews the American dream the premium is $10, but if one has a career, home and family the premium is ++$1K ???

if ACA is $10/mo why isn’t medicare the same $10 ???

seems like a lot of discrimination going on, or a boatload of propaganda

It’s basically Medicaid. Nobody pays much of nothing

And patients get what they pay for.

I’m not sure that’s correct.
My daughter had her third baby at a hospital here in Indiana in a pretty nice area, but a nurse (who is my daughter’s best friend) there told me over half the deliveries were medicaid “clients”. They utilize all the same doctors and nurses as the paying half do.

Maybe the new signups are illegal aliens? You can bet they know a sucker when they see Biden and Obozo.

The Inflation Reduction Act spendfest giveaway extended the subsidies for Obamacare participants for another 3 years. That is why its 10 bucks a month for 80& of the participants. No one ever believed that Obamacare would pay for itself when it was enacted. It was just a matter of time before this is subsidized for eternity and as burdensome as Medicaid on the budget. Just wait until a Dem administration makes illegals eligible for it

I heard a commercial for ObamaCare on the radio tonight. It said coverage was as low as $10 a month & HHS would pay the rest. I screamed at the radio that the taxpayers were paying for it because HHS doesn’t make any money. Thank God I was alone, lol.

I also heard David Schweitzer on a radio interview today and learned America borrows $43,000 a SECOND to pay for all of our programs and handouts. That equals $2,500,000 a minute and $61,000,000 an hour! In 30 years our debt will be $114,000,000,000,000. Our children/grandchildren will never forgive us. 🤬
