On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher called for people to “rally the normies, which we now realize are still most of us,” after the 2022 midterm elections, and push back against extremes on the left and the right with “grand bargains” like people on the right conceding voter fraud “doesn’t exist” “and liberals will admit that getting a picture I.D. is not a Herculean burden that minorities can’t manage like everybody else, and which most don’t even object to.”

Never been a fan of him. He gets so much wrong.
He stated that they need a special prosecutor to put Trump away, but never mentions that Obama did worse things with his Presidential records. Nor does he admit that Trump had zero to do with the riot on Jan 6th.
Basically, Maher is a veiled left wing nut, IMHO, with no common sense and no care for the average citizen.

Maher is making more and more sense these days. I don’t much care why he’s had a change of heart. And I don’t much care what he’s said in the past. He’s saying a lot of good stuff now, and he’s reaching people that otherwise wouldn’t be reached.
But Maher is contradicting himself a bit here. He’s saying that voter fraud doesn’t exist, yet everyone should get a voter ID card. Well, if there was no fraud there’d be no need for ID.
Come on, Bill. Admit it. There is widespread fraud. That’s why voter ID is needed.

No he’s not. He is still the leftist propagandist he always was. In this case he is saying anyone he even alludes to any of the ubiquitous and diverse voter fraud is a extremist and not a “normie”. He puts up a facade of being fair minded by pointing out that blacks are capable of getting ID like anyone else. It’s a classic leftist technique to wrap your ridicule with what appears to be balance. The net effect being you have totally marginalized anyone who points out the voter fraud.

Let’s have the progressives admit that voter fraud includes hiding the count as well as manipulating the count. Voter fraud includes enabling fraudulent voting as well as commiting fraudulent voting. If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.
