Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will not last long as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Host Jake Tapper asked Pence what kind of Speaker he expected McCarthy to be.
Kinzinger said, “If you had asked me five years ago, I would have said a pretty good one. Now, I think he has cut so many deals with bad people to get to this position that I think he’s not going to be a leader.”

One of the many reasons Democrats always win their battles and Republicans always lose theirs can be seen here. Democrats run their party like the mafia, with strict adherence to the party rules, strict omerta, and all who break the rules or the silence getting whacked, sometimes politically, sometimes in reality. Republicans run their party like the country club, where everyone acts as s/he wishes, says whatever s/he wishes, and the goal is to have a good time while going through the motions of running the country.
The Democrat version of Kinzinger would never say in public what he is thinking, and never act against the will of the leadership, knowing he would get whacked if he did. The apolitical majority in the country still don’t get this, which is why Democrats keep getting votes, not only of dead people and illegals, but of live Americans.
Cutting deals with "bad people" doesn't seem to hurt your RAT pals. Look at the deals your president has cut with Hunter Biden.

I am not a fan of McCarthy, but we know that he will last longer in his position than lame duck Kinzinger.
McCarthy probably won’t last very long as Speaker, but not for the reasons Kinzinger thinks. His tenure might even be zero days if his involvement in that FTX money laundering scheme is shown to be true.
As if Kinzinger is qualified to say what the requirements of a leader are…

Kinzinger isn’t going to last very long on the unemployment dole either. Come January, we never have to hear from him whining again.
If this is how the governemnt works, no wonder we are screwed and have no say in who our leaders should be. Backroom ass round deals, giving reach arounds across the aisle.
