Philadelphia police released security footage that shows a gunman walk up behind a Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) worker and shoot the worker in the head.
The video shows the worker immediately fall to ground after being shot while working in the Frankford neighborhood. He was then picked up by police officers and rushed to the hospital, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.

Maybe the killer had been ticketed by the victim and was angry. Maybe he just decided to kill the first white man he saw. Or the first city worker. Or the first person with a job.

There is a TV show about the Philly Parking enforcement regime. #1. NOBODY should be threatened or battered while doing their job … but the system put in place by the Philly government puts these employees at risk from people who are, in some instances, legitimately angry. Even if PPA employees wanted to help, the general portrayals on the show don’t show that they do, the rules they enforce are not customer friendly (IMO).
