Anthony Fauci in an interview with the BBC blasted the “cowardly” internet trolls who harass his wife and children, saying it’s a part of the backlash he’s experienced over the COVID-19 pandemic.
“These people who troll about, they harass my wife and my children because they can figure out where they live and what their phone number is,” the immunologist told BBC’s “Americast” podcast.
Fauci, the chief medical adviser to the White House, has been the public face of the government’s efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s set to retire from government service at the end of the month.
Fauci said those close to him have regularly been harassed since his appointment in 2020 to fight COVID-19, while the doctor himself is a target of conspiracies and right-wing hate.
“I have good security protection, but I really think it’s so cowardly to harass people who are completely uninvolved, including my children,” he said.
Trolls have periodically released the addresses and phone numbers for Fauci’s wife and children and found other ways to reach them with extremist theories and rhetoric.

I'm surprised Fauci could recall this, he can't recall much of anything when he's under oath.
Well, it isn’t right to harass people. Especially the family, but even Fauci himself.

The Supreme Court just weighed in and said it is totally cool for a committee of the House to review a private-citizen/government employee’s tax returns. Here’s hoping the R-House does just that.

It’s a side point, but I hate the use of the word “service” in that regard. Reserve “service” for the military. And for folks who do things out of the goodness of their heart, like volunteer firemen, etc.
So better: He’s set to retire from government employment at the end of the month.

“I am so sorry and so ashamed of funding the research that created the COVID virus and then forcing public acceptance of and making money off of the ineffective and dangerous vaccines. This has been the biggest mistake of my career and possibly the biggest scientific blunder of all time. I will fully accept any consequences that the public wishes for me to suffer. These mistakes were mine and mine alone. Leaven my family out of it.”
….until he says this, his family is fair game.
Next time anyone talks about term-limits on elected officials, please remind them of Anthony Fauci
40 years as emperor of his own $$ multi-billion Fed.gov fiefdom. Played God by illegally conducting virus research overseas, in direct contravention to US law. Was able to literally SHUT-DOWN America.
He never had to stand for election even one time.
