Manchin on Leaving Democrat Caucus: ‘I Will Make My Decision Whenever I Make the Decision’
Breitbart ^ | 12/21/2022 | Jeff Poor

Wednesday, during an appearance on CNN’s “The Lead,” Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) touted his independence, differentiating himself from the Democratic Party.

However, Manchin indicated he was in no rush to follow his colleague Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s (I-AZ) lead and leave the Democratic caucus.

“Jake, I don’t think there’s anyone more independent than me,” he said. “And that we have been voting in my entire life, over 40 years. I’m not a Washington Democrat. I have a lot of good friends who are Washington Republicans. This party tribal mentality is killing our country. People are sick and tired of it. I respect Kyrsten’s decision. God bless her. She made her decision, and she’s very articulate in the way she pointed out of why she did what she did.”

He is just waiting for another check to shut him up.

He's waiting to see what committee assignments he gets. He'll still vote for DemocRAT leadership, though, so it doesn't matter if he becomes yet another 'independent' DemocRAT like Bernie and Angus King.

It gets old listening to him talk about being an “independent voice” for the people of West Virginia, while continually support the Biden puppeteers/Democrat party policies.

If he as truly independent as he claims, he’d dump the Democrats and start supporting his constituency.

But he’s not . . .

If he jumps to Republican then it’s going to be nuts for Schumer. All that voter fraud for nothing.

He knows the Democrats will try to unseat him.

If he can cut a deal with McConnell for re-election support, then he should do it.

It’s interesting that he’s been a Democrat and West Virginia has become increasingly Republican over the past couple of decades.

I think he’s up for reelection in 2024. I don’t know enough about West Virginia politics or his own personal popularity. Maybe he is personally popular in West Virginia, and that overrides his being a democrat in a strongly Republican state?

Yep! He ain’t going nowhere. People are delusional. Money speaks louder and this evil power money-hungry POS is just waiting for the highest bidder. He loves to have everybody eating out of his palm. And since the red wave did not materialize, this guy has more power in his little pinky then both chambers. He Knows that his reelection is assured 100%. He’s making fools of everyone who think he’ll be switching parties or go independent. He’s playing the grifter game and waiting on some serious $$$$ be deposited in his checking account.
