I made no such assumptions. You made those mythical assumptions up in your head. I think any sane person can see you have been hostile, and continue to be hostile.
A normal person would have replied, “Yeah, I went through similar with my own parents and can see how it would cause you to have to retread.” But a normal person would not have called me a “retread” to start with. It’s hostile.
I called you no names, was not rude to you, yet you felt the need to call me “retread” for some inexplicable reason I simply cannot fathom.

It’s Christmas Eve, and I have no desire to continue conversing with a clearly troubled person. I pray whatever is troubling you melts away and you enjoy a Blessed Christmas with your loved ones, a wonderful Christmas full of good cheer.
Maybe you should learn to take what is written with sincerity and goodwill as it is written rather than reading your own negativity into words that full of well wishes for you. I do pray for you, and believe that will do more good than continuing this conversation any further. Remember the song of the angels over 2,000 years ago this night and receive them into your heart: Peace On Earth Goodwill Toward Man. Not because I said so, but because God said so. His Goodwill toward man was made manifest to us that night, a tiny babe lying in a lowly manger, His only begotten Son. Rejoice and make glad.
I truly wish you Peace with all goodwill.

Reminds me of an incident in WW11 London. The King and Queen were visiting a bombed-out area in the east end. One of the local people asked The Queen why she was wearing such beautifull clothes, to which Her Majesty replied " Well, you would wear your best clothes if you came to visit me, wouldn't you?"
Goodness gracious! And I thought I was stubborn. You got me beat!
