Estimates from China’s top health authority say that nearly 37 million people were infected with COVID-19 in a single day on Dec. 20, according to a Bloomberg report.
The report added that it is also likely that 248 million people contracted the virus in the first 20 days of the month.
According to Bloomberg, the minutes didn’t note the number of deaths from COVID-19.
Cases in China have surged just weeks after the country moved away from nearly three years of a strict “zero-COVID” policy.
World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Wednesday sounded the alarm over rising cases in China, highlighting “increasing reports of severe disease.”

Because that would not serve the CCP’s propaganda purposes - last week the actual covid death total was two (2) the rest were just the normal deaths from other causes.

It’s a Coronavirus, and the possibility that it would not become yet another endemic Coronavirus was essentially zero. If there was ever a possibility to prevent this, it was lost before anyone outside China knew it existed.

Do the math. 37 million is just a drop in the bucket for the population of China. Statistically it isn’t even a spike.

since Communist china is chomping at the bit for any military action, anywhere, then any population loss for them is a good thing, globally.

That is basically what we are seeing in N. California.
We have a Variant that makes us feel terrible for 5-7 days and then it fades out.
Our families in the MW and SW are seeing the same pattern.
No one is going to a doctor nor hospital.
We are drinking a lot of liquids, taking our baby aspirin, calcium and vitamin D and drinking green tea with minimal fever if any. I’m on a loop diuretic and a blood thinner for other issues.
I hope China doesn’t send them all over the world so the UN will demand all countries to lock down.
Figures lie and liars figure... I don’t trust the numbers from western countries, so why would I ever trust numbers coming from a communist country.
China needs to get rid of several hundred million.
