Of course it would be their fault. They opened the door by starting this contest. One which they hsd zero hope of winning. The vote before Christmas was 188 to 31 for McCarthy. Now all but nine of the 31 are backing McCarthy. Even Trump backs McCarthy. This is nuts. Just vote McCarthy. If people here think McCarthy and his backers are uniparty, well then there are 426 uniparty members of the House. How does the MAGA movement deal with those numbers when even the MAGA leader supports the guy who is supposed to be Uniparty..

We’ll see how much support he loses within the caucus if/when Democrat votes push him over the top. Most of those RINO congresspeople would probably just unite behind him to help further ostracize the Uniparty defectors.
