University of Wyoming punishes church elder for protesting biological male’s admission to sorority

A Wyoming church elder has had his tabling privileges revoked for a year by the University of Wyoming (UW) after he set up a table on campus calling a trans-identified male student "a male," causing a group of lawmakers to denounce the decision.

According to the Star Tribune, on Dec 2, Laramie Faith Community Church elder Todd Schmidt displayed a sign in the Wyoming Union breezeway saying "God Created Male and Female and [Artemis Langford] is a male." Langford is a trans-identified male student who was accepted into the Kappa Kappa Gamma UW sorority earlier this year.

Schmidt cooperated and was allowed to remain on campus, but the university later decided to revoke Schmidt's tabling rights for one year after conducting a "deeper assessment."

This assessment concerned an examination of university policies and federal case law with regard to freedom of expression and harassment, UW spokesperson Chad Baldwin told the Star Tribune.

"While freedom of expression is cherished on this campus and across this nation, a line was crossed when a student was harassed by name," UW President Ed Seidel said in a statement on Dec 5, while explaining that the "heated exchanges" that had taken place between Schmidt and some students that day were not "in obvious violation of UW policies."

Why is it wrong to refuse to play pretend with somebody else that is playing pretend?

No protesting. No free speech. Let’s ALL pretend he is a she and nobody gets hurt.

Take this to the Board of Regents. In WY, if anywhere, they should be on the side of sanity and free speech rather than on the side those who believe like Liz Cheney. If the citizens of WY, through their Board of Regents, can’t defeat ‘their’ Administrators and Professors, who doubtless think this is a good idea, in a state that booted Cheney by 40% then public colleges can’t be fixed anywhere.

People are being injured by the “woke” because of their personal beliefs.

Unfortunately, often times the only power normal, decent people have in the face of deep-state, woke perversion and corruption is to withdraw and not participate in the corrupt organization - regardless if it is a sorority, a church, the US military, or anything else.

Merely withdrawing “the good” is powerful enough to force a collapse or change of policy.

Anything except conservative, God fearing, America first, vaccine leery and believe in the Constitution. Because if you're that, you're racist. And will be placed on the Homeland Security list of possible "domestic terrorists".

Actually when I was in college, I knew a lot of guys who would have worn a dress to get to live in a sorority. My college days were long before co-ed living spaces. Of course, back in those days a couple of fathers of the sorority girls would have taken him out back and convinced him that he wasn’t going to live in a house with their daughters.

If this can happen in Wyoming it can happen anywhere.

Push back hard everywhere. Demanding we join them in lying and denying reality is outrageous.
