Former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean claimed Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that some Republicans meant the country “harm.”
Dean said, “These people are essentially authoritarians. They will say whatever it takes. They’re not that different from Putin. And they like Putin. These are dangerous people. I think Matt Gaetz is sort of a tool in their hands, but there are people in that Congress who mean America harm, and I think there are also some Republicans who want to make sure that doesn’t happen. It’s going to be really fascinating to see what happens when they try to handcuff some of the members. There’s been some pushback. I don’t think the American people are going to vote for these people. They barely won the House this time. If it hadn’t been for a bunch of screwups in New York, we could have won. Having these people on television, I mean, you can have them on once in a while, but I wouldn’t give them much of a platform because mean evil for the country.”

Howard Dean gave the commencement speech when my daughter graduated from UVM, May 2009. He gloated over Obama’s election. You can only imagine how miserable I was. To make it worse, witty Ben Stein was going to give the address but was disinvited because of his views on intelligent design.
Until one of his caregivers shuts his big stupid mouth.
I am looking for republicans, or anyone for that matter, to directly harm democrats.
Yet there are democrats who have literally , continuously hurt America.

A party with a passion for bans, mandates, fines, and intrusive surveillance of citizens, for taxes to coerce changes in behavior, and for punishment for incorrect speech or thought, that’s the one I would consider “authoritarian”. Which political party is that?
There are “republicans” aka RINOS but there are a hell of a lot more DemonRATS who want to destroy America and they tend to vote multiple times each election with mail in banana ballots and voting in more than one state. Nobody checks that. Snowbirds in Maricopa County vote in Arizona and absentee in the union upper midwest where they live in the summer. College snowflakes do the same thing. Vote where they are going to “school” and also absentee in their home state. Nobody cares. The RATS just want dumpsters full of ballots. They don’t GAS who fills them out.
