Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Thursday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that former President Donald Trump will be the Republican 2024 presidential nominee or he will “burn down” anyone who is.
Referencing House Republicans voting for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to be removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee, Ocasio-Cortez said, “I think Speaker McCarthy gets a fundraising boom. I think he gets potentially currying favor with either Trump and his base, saying I delivered on these promises. I’m a good soldier to the Trumpian political base. I am really letting the world know that the House Republican Party is now being fully transformed. We are cementing the transformation. Even with Donald Trump being gone, they’re cementing the transformation of the Republican Party into a Trumpian party. One that settles petty political scores that is no longer motivated by a classic quote, unquote ‘conservative politics of reducing a tax base’ et cetera, but this is truly about service to their benefactors.”

Speaker McCarthy isn’t getting a fund raising boom from me. He hasn’t done a single thing to improve our lives. I don’t expect that to happen for another two years. In the mean time, he’s going to have to hold the fiscal line. No new debt limit, real cuts in spending and no more wasting money on the corrupt Ukraine. Essentially those things can be accomplished because the House controls appropriations. I’ll be really surprised if McCarthy actually uses the power of the purse. Recent polling show a majority of Americans, including democrats and independents support spending cuts. I doubt if McCarthy can drop his RINO baggage to do the work the people want.
Bartender to congress woman? She is nothing but a grifter and thief as most are who walk in lockstep with their respective party affiliation. I tire of the non stop meaningless words from both rinos and commucrats. When Trump was President we had NO war and hge focused on items that were beneficial for our Republic....even while he and his family were under constant barrage from all sides and especially from the den of thieves within our government agencies. She is nothing more than a calculating self serving wench.

Trump won’t need to go 3rd party because he’ll have the most delegates going into to 2024 convention.
If he gets cheated at the convention, he’ll run as a 3rd party and deny both Democrat & Republican nominees 270 electoral votes.
Then the election goes to the House of Representatives, where Trump has McCarthy wrapped around his finger.

Not realistic.
What is realistic is modest increases in the debt limit for modest cuts in spending (or other reforms, such as elimination of the EMTALA effective January 1, 2024, when new PPACA policies become effective), repeated as spending cut ideas occur.
And don’t try for a super deal. Lots of small deals.
Don’t put all the eggs in a single basket Biden might toss in a demented rage.
