Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) says he is not sure how Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) would perform in a presidential contest if he joins the race, saying that “none of us really know who he is” on the national stage.
Christie said in an interview with the conservative outlet The Dispatch published Wednesday that DeSantis has done a “good job” as governor, but he does not know how DeSantis would perform in a Republican primary.
DeSantis has not publicly confirmed whether he is considering a run for president in 2024, but he has been the subject of rumors about a possible candidacy and consistently places second or better in hypothetical GOP primary polls.
Christie, who was a candidate for the Republican nomination in 2016, has said he is considering his own run for president in 2024.

Given that nobody’s record is without blemish but compared to yours, at least his plays. Yours is broken.
My feelings on 2024 have nothing to do with DeSantis or anyone else.
Trump is the ONLY one not taking money from any special interests, the ONLY one who doesn’t owe the Washington elite, big tech or pharma, or big donors a damn thing.
Trump is our only hope because he is really the only one who can truly be 100% on our side.
Gov Ron has proven himself time and time again with his outstanding communication skills. Knows his material, his beliefs and is able to articulate them.
I have no concerns whatsoever about his ability on the big stage to be clear, concise and conservative!
But admittedly, he won’t excite the base like Trump. We all have to ultimately reconcile who we think can win the general. That is all that matters.
NO ONE knows what Christie is or believes, either.

I will vote for TRUMP or I won’t vote anymore.
He’s not beholden to anyone other than America. That removes the conflict of interest all these other swamp creatures have.
But we are looking at Ron because we already know what Christie would look like on a National stage.
Donut-Man, from his private beaches,
has said not a word about the derailing and upcoming deaths
radiating out of Palestine, Ohio,
suggesting that the “us” to which HE is connected
and serves, may have been behind the planned atrocity.
I do know that DeSantis is able to push himself away from the dinner table, you should look giving that a try.
