Baffled Dianne Feinstein walks out of Senate chamber wondering what just happened: 'Did I vote for that?'

Sen. Dianne Feinstein emerged from the Senate chamber on Wednesday seemingly confused about what she had done during a two-vote series.

"Did I vote for that?" Insider overheard the California Democrat ask her long-time chief of staff, David Grannis, about approving a judicial nominee to the federal bench.

Grannis, who had just finished explaining to his 89-year-old boss that the six Senate votes scheduled throughout the day would be on Biden appointees, shook his head and said, "No."

The most jarring part about the public episode was that Grannis was trying to map out what Feinstein — whose cognitive ability has increasingly come into question — needed to know about what was happening later, but she couldn't recall what had transpired minutes before.

So very sad and frankly shameful. Clearly Feinstein isn't capable of fulfilling her duties as Senator, nobody elected her "handlers".

Not only sad, but this is an outrage. Where are the adults in the room who immediately convince her to resign?

What is wrong with politicians who hang on when they cannot serve, Ted Kennedy, McCain, and so many others. Oh, Biden comes to mind. What a joke, and the joke is on the American people.

Power is so addictive that people will cling to it even when their bodies are frail and their minds are no longer sharp.

There is a saying that goes along the lines of "those who crave power the most deserve it the least."

The real power behind most of congress is the permanent “staff”. They write and negotiate legislation and tell the “face” what to say.

They’re all handled, it’s just theater.

At least she’s in a position where she doesn’t have to worry about where she’ll get her re-election funding.

These career politicians are a cancer to the Republic and a major factor as to why we are where we are.

Business Insider has been a hot bed of fake news. Seems BI is trying to capture a sliver of credibility.

And the reason we will never get them to pass term limits even if Nikki campaigns on it.

And this woman packs a gun?

Time to take away her car keys, her 9-mil and her Senate seat.

She shouldn’t be in the Senate, she should be in Hospice.

Nobody has to make up a story about Feinstein's dementia, is there for all to see. Just like Biden, ever wonder why he cannot take unscripted questions for a long period of time.

It’s terrible that her colleagues don’t do something, but where is her family?

I guess each senate paycheck adds to their inheritance. Oh, perhaps she will also get free healthcare if she is a sitting member It's never about service, it's always about $$$$

“those who crave power the most deserve it the least.”

But those who crave power the most are the ones most likely to achieve it. It seems like a mathematical certainty.

Should come as no surprise that Californians also elected Kamala Harris as Senator. Apparently being cognitively impaired for whatever reason is not a hinderance to elected office in California.

Well, there is Uncle Fester, the junior senator from Pennsylvania. And our senior senator isn’t much smarter even though morons are smarter than imbeciles.

So, with two down, who has the real majority?

Fetterman, Feinstein and Leaky Leahy can barely function.
