As her mental capacity deteriorates, Feinstein has become another example —along with FJB, Fetterman, et al. — of the Democrat/Communist Party’s ideal politician.

Californians also elected Kamala Harris as Senator. Apparently being cognitively impaired for whatever reason is not a hinderance to elected office in California.

Says alot about the electorate.

Memory care facility at the very least.

Feinstein’s mental decline is not a new phenomenon. Perhaps her cognition has gotten markedly worse or perhaps there is a coordinated effort to force her to step down now, so Newsome can appoint a successor who will have the benefit of encumbancy in 2024. From national Dems and Newsome’s perspective, this has the bonus of making it obvious that the similarly impaired Biden should not run for re-election.

Most of them in the Senate are brain dead and uncle Fester just filled Feinstein slot.

Net Worth in 2023: $90 million

I don’t think it’s the paycheck.

It’s elder abuse because they’re allowing her to be used and laughed at and to embarrass herself when she clearly has no idea it’s happening.
Someone needs to shame her family.

Term limits are doable. You’ve just got to exempt the current members of Congress. Then maybe they’ll vote for it.

And there is precedence for this. When the 22nd Amendment set term limits for the president, the current president (Harry Truman) was exempt.

Exactly!
They tell you how to vote and cover up your senility.
Biden, Feinstein and Turtle are just a few of the many who clearly have no idea what they are doing.

What is wrong with politicians who hang on when they cannot serve.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They only work 3 days a week nothing else to do but keep the chair warm.

I can, if the alternative is Nazis. That is how the Dems think. Our side has not come to terms with it yet.

If I thought my demented 90-year old grandmother was the only thing keeping Hitler from coming to power, I would make sure she stayed in the Senate as long as possible.

This happens over and over and over again. And it happens on the Republican side too - Strom Thurmond and Thad Cochran weren’t all there in their last years in the Senate. Each senator has such a staff built up around them that they are protected just to keep them in office to get the right vote.

Now we need Schumer and McCarthy to do it, don't hold your breath. They have family they'd like to pass their seats down to, they think they are royalty.

.......”power is to some, more addictive than the most powerful chemical drug”.......

Having power over others has an intoxicating effect. It boosts testosterone, which in turn increases the supply of dopamine (a feel-good neurotransmitter) in the brain’s reward system. This dopamine rush explains the addictive quality of power and why it’s so hard to let it go.

A congressional vote is no different than puting a coin in a slot machine for gambling addicts. Feinstein wasn’t even aware what she voted for.....just that she got her vote fix.
