Russia is not the only country with grievances about Ukraine. Hungary and Romania also accuse the country of persecuting ethnic groups living in Ukraine and now forcibly conscripting them into military service. Now the Council of Europe’s Venice Commission will investigate Ukraine for violations of minority rights.

That is some pretty detailed information about government ancestral records, the draft, the military, detailed unit compositions, and detailed deployment of which units to where, and the wartime bureaucracy that organizes and runs all this, you must have some very serious and reputable sources for all that info, what are they?

Its different in eastern Europe. The national boundaries have moved in somewhat arbitrary ways over the centuries. The Hungarians stayed on one place. Hungarians are Hungarians, no matter where the border sits. Same with Russians. That fundamentally why this conflict is going on.
So Hungarians have a problem with it, and it is completely understandable.

I any event, your side spouts the same incorrect, distorted reasoning to support Russia’s brutal attack, invasion, and occupation of land that doesn’t belong to them. Russia become “in the wrong” when they invaded Crimea…and actually when they invaded Georgia.
Just because a group of citizens of one country speak another language or have cultural backgrounds with another, it doesn’t give that other country an obligation or right to “liberate them.” That was proven wrong in 1936.
The US isolationism in 1915 led to tens of millions dead. Out intercession ended that. Our neutrality in 1939 led to a drawn out mess that killed tens of millions more. How many times must we dance this dance. Sending Ukraine material to defend itself is a decent half step to avoid having to send a million US troops over there.
When I have asked you and your comerades what our withdrawal from Ukraine would look like, I never get an answer. My answer is to look at Chechnya. We don’t want European counties to go through that again.

My mother and her brother came to the U.S. from Canada when young with their mother. My uncle who wasn't a citizen enlisted in the U.S. Army in WWII. The Army took him to Niagara Falls, and had him walk back across the Rainbow Bridge from the Canadian side, in order to have a date of entry for him. On his way to California, to ship overseas, during his stop at Fort Sam Houston, he was naturalized an American citizen.
The rates may have changed since this graphic was prepared but its quite clear ethnic Hungarians, most of whom are poorly trained 'home guard' troops were getting slaughtered.
Ukraine’s not even a legit country, its borders were arbitrarily set and changed over the years to encompass areas it was never entitled to. Apparently it’s filled with a bunch of stupid people too.
