Banks don’t need any prompting from fedzilla to spy and snitch on their customers. They do it willingly. All bank employees who deal directly with customers are trained to get to know the customers so the employees can report any behavior they think is “unusual.”
The pot shops here in California don’t take credit cards. Just bring cash. Only a fool would try to rob a gun store.
Needs to be banned, although the libertarians running Reason may not like that.
Why don’t they take credit cards?
I’m not 100% sure but think it’s because banks (or CC companies) are federally regulated and pot is not legal at the federal level. But obviously the banks and the feds are looking the other way as these massive cash deposits are made every day from 1000’s of pot shops. Plus of course, the states and cities are raking in cash on the taxes. If the feds stuck their noses in the states would cry. But the banks so far don’t want to stick their necks out I guess.
Cash Only for just about everything is my motto, I use a credit card for mail order stuff I just can’t go buy and gas in my airplane. Everything else is Cash or a check is mailed.

How much longer do you think it will be before the government clowns:
A) Prohibit gun dealers from accepting cash
or
B) Get rid of cash altogether? You know they want to.
Bank of America offers their Snitchin⢠Service as a free benefit to all of their card holders.
Theyâre saving the taxpayers millions by Snitchin⢠on their customers to the FBI without requiring the pesky and time-consuming process of obtaining a meddlesome warrant.
In 2-3 years from now we will all be on the QFS and not using banks.
