Remote work may boost marriage rates and encourage women who are already parents to have more children, a new paper found.
Economist Adam Ozimek and demographer Lyman Stone, analyzing the survey data of 3,000 American women between the ages of 18-44 from the Demographic Intelligence Family Survey, hypothesize that “remote work during COVID made a positive contribution to the U.S. and potentially other developed countries’ fertility rates.” The findings come after the U.S. reported the lowest fertility rate on record in 2020.

I worked from home from March 2020 until the 1st week of June the same year then went back to the office and myself and maybe 2 others were the only ones on our floor for well over a year. Personally, I hate work from home but mine is understandably a minority viewpoint.
And best of all
You can work in your undies without anyone complaining to HR.
I guess this gives new meaning to f**king around at work.

Oddly - I get dressed as if I'm in the office. No tie, but a collared shirt - helps me to stay focused (and not lose my professionalism).
Well, when you have zoom meetings you can wear a suit and tie. And shorts.
Just don’t stand up during the meeting.
Beware, it's the sizzle that sells the steak, but it's the sizzle of the steak that convinces you to eat soy burger, and the microwave bell for the soy burger being done to convince you that soylent green is just another form of soy burger.
