Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday night that fighting in Bakhmut and throughout eastern Ukraine remains “very tough.”
“It is very tough in the east, very painful,” Zelensky said in his nightly address to the Ukrainian people. “We need to destroy the enemy’s military might, and we will. Bilohorivka and Maryinka, Avdiivka and Bakhmut, Vuhledar and Kamyanka — and all other places where our future is being decided. Where our future, the future of all Ukrainians, is being fought for.”

After a year, all USA’s satellite and electronic surveillance assets have been brought to bear and are integrated into Ukraine military command. Its why people like William Burns and Merrick Garland are now regularly visiting Ukraine.
This is a HUGE advantage for Ukraine, and probably the only one they have left. Russia can not make a large move in Ukraine without it being seen. So Russia will simply opt for the low-level, slow, grinding approach.

In that way they attack a flank, cut off supplies/men/reinforcements etc... then Always leave a corridor to offer escape, then rinse and repeat.
From the video I've seen, the Wagner or someone is punching into the city and localizing Uke defenders. Then just calling in arillery and missles to level the buildings, trenches or whatever shelter/breastworks or defensive position they have and pulverize it with artillery...then repeat reconnaissance in force, make contact, then call in artillery.
But we KNOW the Russians can't win... want to know why?
