Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign had “surreptitious involvement” in organizing a letter written by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely claimed the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation, according to a complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday.
The complaint, from lawyers for former President Donald Trump, asks the FEC to record the infamous “Dirty 51” letter as an “in-kind contribution” to Biden’s campaign because it allegedly was used to influence the outcome of the election.
The Oct. 19, 2020, letter was signed by 51 ex-spooks, including five former or acting CIA directors — John Brennan, Leon Panetta, Mike Hayden, John McLoughlin and Mike Morell — as well as James Clapper, the one-time director of national intelligence.
It was delivered to Politico five days after The Post ran its exposé, and three days before the final presidential debate of the election campaign, where Biden cited the letter to discredit evidence from the laptop showing he met his son’s overseas business partners while he was vice president.
“The speed with which this letter was written, and the number of Individual Respondents involved, points directly to the surreptitious involvement of the Biden Campaign in soliciting or organizing the drafters of the letter in a clear violation of [the Federal Election Campaign Act],” claims the FEC complaint to be filed this week by attorney Timothy Parlatore.

How could it be otherwise? These types of "letters" just do not spontaneously materialize out of the ether. Somebody has to write them (not just "surreptitious involvement," either) then shop them around for signatures. You can bet your bottom line that the Biden Machine wrote the letter and worked feverishly to get the "signatures."
All of the bastards that signed it should be prosecuted for malicious lies, lose their pensions, and be permanently prohibited from ever again working for the government or on any government contractors.
I even surprised myself at how much my hatred of him increased after dismissing him as a place holding moron. He is a true danger to this country.

My thoughts exactly. The more you know the worse it is. Add his army of MSM protectors to this. Because of them no one knows that he has drained our oil reserves and sent much of it to China. Not siphoned, drained.

But Biden won, didn’t he? That really is all that matters to many people. If they have to cheat or burn down our institutions to win, oh well. Now that he’s president, they have even more freedom to do as the please. After all, who is going to stop the radical left? Certainly not the DOJ or FBI.
Note they wrote the letter in a very precise way to both give the impression Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinfo and ensure the signers had wiggle room, ie plausible deniability.

If that’s all they’ve got I don’t hold out much hope for their complaint. It will be far too easy for the FEC to dismiss it for lack of evidence.
Meaning “the democRATs orchestrated and probably coerced the letter writers”. It was the same as the “Russia Collusion” hoax. All lies.
Yes, I’ve seen that said before. Nothing worse than a person who is so committed to his convictions that he gives himself that weasely out. That’s the hallmark of a real weakling.
