In the race for Florida’s next Governor, Republican nominee Ron DeSantis took his campaign into the Everglades.

DeSantis continues to reveal himself as an opportunistic politician. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
I think we have the 2024 version of 2016’s Cruz.

So what are we saying? Are we saying that because DeSantis said something about climate change 5 years ago, that this cancels out everything else he’s done as governor, and cancels out every other position he has on other issues?

What did he see which caused him to say he believed climate change was real - meaning human caused climate cause.
Constant climate change is built into the natural order of nature and it has been going on since creation!

For years, the US has pursued a policy of reducing carbon emissions, whoever is president and whatever they believe.
DeSantis (and Trump) will continue the policy.
Neither will be as drastic about it as Biden is.

Actually, DeSantis is a smart politician. Most Republicans know that the whole “climate change” movement is a scam, but....that doens’t change the fact that the average, non-political dupe thinks that there might be something to it. So, DeSantis smartly pays lip service to the airheads so that this issue didn’t derail his candidacy. We need to get smarter as a party with public relations. I remember when Bear Sterns went under in 2008 and dopey Eric Cantor and John Boenhner stood in front of the cameras and called for a capital gains tax cut.
BTW, the Democrats ALWAYS do this. Remember Clinton’s “moderate platform” and how he told off Jesse Jackson? Yeah, right. Bottom line: Do what it takes to get in power and THEN hammer away at the climate change scam.
It’s not about reducing carbon emissions, it’s about transferring wealth.
Nice try, Trump chumps, but “climate change” in the Everglades is absolutely a real thing. Doesn’t mean he supports the global economic takeover spread by the panic pornsters over “global warming.”
The reason they changed the name is that it is quite possible to debate the existence of anthropogenic “global” WARMING. It’s impossible to deny that climate change is taking place.
Democrats have a ringer or he just put up a For Sale sign.
