America is not a land power. We are a naval and air power. We have given up all of our Stingers because they are not used in our present doctrine. As for ammo, when people quote numbers they use only American production. That’s because all of that information is publicly available. But America’s production pales in comparison to South Korea and a number of other players. As explained in the video at the link neither Nato or the US is in any danger of running out of ammo.

Just the opposite is happening, we are cleaning out the old gear and replacing it with new and better, with renewed weapons manufacturing in the NATO countries, the U.S. and South Korea, Japan, and Australia.
