I’m beginning to feel like DeSantis, who used to seem like a fairly authentic man, has started listening to “advisors” recommended by the ever-more-woke RNC. This is not a good path for him to take.
Yep...keep your eyes and ears wide open folks. Ask questions...and lots of them.

I agree with you, but I think it's actually worse than that. It's more than just him listening to advisors. On the matter of Ukraine specifically, DeSantis has been given a "good talking to." In the GOP, a person repudiates the neo-Con warmonger class at his or her peril. DeSantis obviously caved, and almost immediately, by the looks of it.
If the man ever did have any authenticity to his political persona, he's kicked that well and truly to the curb. He's just another pol, who knows what lines can't be crossed. Let's just say that the wellbeing of the American people is not his highest priority. He owes his allegiance to an altogether different tribe.

DeSantis knows nothing about foreign policy, and he’s going to get his ass kicked on that topic. He’s been talking about Ukraine, what, two weeks now, and already a major total flip-flop. President Trump will mop the floor with him on that one issue — and guess what? Foreign policy and the risk of getting entangled in a stupid war are beginning to matter to the electorate.
However... you’ll REALLY know he’s been bought and paid for when his domestic policy positions change. That’s gonna suck for Floridians going forward.

yep ... desantis is starting to do the politician’s flip-flop dance ...
“This is not a good path for him to take.”
indeed not ... shows that’s he just yet another standard politician that’ll do and say whatever he thinks it’ll take to get elected ... sans principles of course ... we do NOT need another one of those ... is Trump really the ONLY leader of ours who has invariant principles that guides his leadership? (principles besides “whatever it takes to get elected”) ...
Remember when we all fawned over Rubio - and how he turned out?
That’s the feeling I get about DeSantis.
