This is clearly being run directly from Rat Party Headquarters. Nobody outside of Headquarters can be sure what the thinking is there. One possible explanation is that this will ensure that DJT is the nominee and that The Big Guy...or Heels Up Harris...or Buttplug can beat him in November.
The other is that they're hoping that this will somehow deny DJT the nomination because they know they can't beat him.
Of course there will be no leaks to Fox News or the NY Post from Headquarters so we can't be 100% certain.

Yep the low info voter and moderate suburbanites (especially women) have been conditioned too much to ever vote for Trump again. This will just be another factor to brainwash them.
Desantis is the best bet now.
