Wisconsin’s State Supreme Court election carries bigger policy stakes than any other race in the country this year. It will decide whether conservatives (like Justice Kelly) or liberals (like Judge Protasiewicz) control the otherwise evenly divided court, which will determine the fate of abortion rights, gerrymandered political maps and a range of voting rights issues in the battleground state. Democrat court will now terminate 3-4 GOP Congressman with a new map.

I bet the new WI Democrat gerrymander will be in place for next year.

“This is one of many elections which have taken place with no ballot drop boxes and with voter ID. The Republicans still lost.
People need to stop depressing Republican votes with this defeatist nonsense about stolen election myths. The truth is that conservatives are a minority and we need to do more to persuade young people.”

Preach! Conservatives will become irrelevant if they don’t stop whining and implement an intelligent strategy. An 11 point loss is a horrible result in Wisconsin.

Republicants will NEVER win another election that matters. EVER AGAIN. We had our chance but those we trusted BLEW it.

They did not “Blew” it. They knew exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it. They, with malice afore thought, deliberately betrayed us.

Conservatives held an 5-2 majority on the WI Supreme Court when Trump took office in 2017.

Since then they have lost the court and two governor's races.

I think there’s going to be, or at least hope there will be, some serious thought about if the GOP wants to stay the course or find someone besides Trump or Desantis.

It’s going to be risky no matter what now.

Bad sign. Assume WI will remain blue in 2024. We have GA and AZ. If we steal NV. Then we take Omaha. And Maine's 2nd congressional district. Then we have 269.

My only hope is that it’s usually impossible to really know who ever the nominee will be of the non-eelected party until the last minute. I like Desantis, but I don’t see him as bringing over any states more than Trump really in the general.

But then in late 2019 I thought Trump had 2020 in the bag too, o I’m bad at predictions.

And frankly the only elections I was truly sure about 6-9 months before the general would be the winner were 1996, 2008, and especially 2012

My personal opinion? The Deep State is manipulating the primaries so Trump will be the Republican nominee. Biden will beat him easily. Hell, he won't even need to cheat this time.

DeSantis might have a clear road to the White House in 2028. Four more years of Biden will make more Americans tired of the Blue Team. Even some members of Gen Z will have grown up by then. Especially when inflation continues to devour much of their earnings and their job prospects are limited to working at Starbucks as baristas.

No more cushy jobs at Twitter or Google. Being woke will be a luxury in 2028.

I’ve seen a lot more candidate fatigue on the Republican side after they’re in terms for a long time. I honestly don’t see how Biden could do any worse and upset the Democrats by even 2028 all that much.

The only one I can think of that Republicans stuck by solidly until the end and past is Reagan since Eisenhower. Carter is the only Democrat that really pushed his base away. Nixon, HW Bush, W people just didn’t in the their party, for good and bad reasons, just didn’t like that much.

I dunno, it’s interesting study material at least.

Machines counted the votes.

Bottom line.

Audit the vote.

If they don’t allow an audit, it’s fraudulent.

Liberals have to torture logic and the Constitution to make a law fit into their belief system.
