A loud group of demonstrators stormed the Tennessee State Capitol on Thursday to protest a vote in the state House to remove three lawmakers for disrupting the state House floor in Nashville last week during protests for stricter gun control measures.
The protesters, gathered both inside and outside the capitol in Nashville, chanted to urge the lawmakers to take action on gun control, as well as vote against expelling the three lawmakers from their positions in the House.
"No more silence, end gun violence," those in attendance chanted. As lawmakers made their way into the chamber, several of the protesters donning March for Our Lives branded clothing chanted, "Free, free, free, free the Tennessee Three."

I live in Hermitage and lived in Nashville (the same county) for the last 32 years. These are idiots who grew up with Obama’s education czar and his use America for all you can get admin. Most of us in middle TN were used to several roads in our area where the cops would ticket one for speeding. That is past. The police have been trashed so much by the left, that they show up after the fact or at a real shooting. These teachers need to take pistol training and carry to protect kids. Anyone who interferes with any govt. meeting needs to be arrested. Biden has trashed America so bad we cannot drive normal. Our streets in Nashville are bumpy as heck.

I could not disagree more. Whether other here are tongue in cheek or not, I am quite serious: the left has defined occupation of the seat of government as insurrection. One need not be violent: plenty of people who were not violent in 1/6 are having the book thrown at them. These three miscreants led an insurrection in the chamber: when you have a bullhorn and are egging on the people in the gallery to prevent the due deliberations of the chamber, then you, too, are an insurrectionist. Slapping of the wrist will not deter such conduct in the future

The same left-wing radicals who are defending the violent insurrectionists in Tennessee were all for locking up the peaceful protesters in D.C. on Jan 6.
Arrest them and i prison them without bond or trial. That’s how it works now.

No it isn’t. It’s appropriate. There are still places where you have to act like you got some damn common sense. This is one of them. You’re told the rules, lots of them, when you get in. You show respect or you don’t get to stay. Expulsion in this case is perfect because it sets a precedent. So these three won a popularity contest. Big deal. It doesn’t give them a license it act like idiots.
