So the decision to prosecute is the thinly-disguised signal from Brandon’s puppetmasters that it’s time for him to exit stage left, no harm, no foul.

Taxes owed can be paid with fines.... That goes away
Registering as a foreign agent can be done retroactively... That goes away
Joe comes out and proclaims Hunter made things right.

I'm not so sure about that. Capone was sent to Alcatraz for 4 1/2 years for tax evasion. I would guess that he had enough funds (from the money he made bootlegging and other "activities") to pay what he owed to avoid prison. But they still sent him to "The Rock".

Firearm case is open and shut,, but only if they decide to pursue it. Form 4473 asks if the purchaser is a user of illegal drugs. Hunter would have had to check ‘no’ in order to buy the pistol. He would have had to fill out the form by hand at the time of the purchase, and he had to sign and date it. It’s all there in his own handwriting.
Biden is supposed to be cracking down on illegal firearm purchases. I’m shocked, shocked I say, that Hunter hasn’t been charged!

That’s a lot of pardons piling up.

US prosecutors are considering a plea deal with a fine for the smallest crime listed. The other investigations will end.

I think it’s clear that Hunter and the other Biden children have lived a messed-up life to put it mildly. It’s no wonder why he turned to drugs. If given the choice, he should roll over on pops and cut him loose. What are they going to do to an 80-year-old man beside make him step down?

Ironically, it was Joe Biden that introduced the legislation to make lying on a 4473 into a felony punishable by 10 years in prison or $10,000 fine.
Guess which one Hunter pays and all this goes away?
