A new poll conducted for the Wall Street Journal by the polling firm run by Tony Fabrizio, the pollster for Donald Trump, finds Ron DeSantis leading Joe Biden by three points but Trump trailing Biden by three points:

The good news for Trump is that the same poll finds Trump regaining his lead over DeSantis in a head-to-head GOP primary matchup. After the midterm elections, which saw DeSantis win by 19 points while many of Trump’s key picks crashed and burned, DeSantis had a 13-point lead over Trump in a head-to-head matchup. Those numbers have now flipped:

The same poll finds that 51 percent of Republican primary voters would prioritize the electability of a GOP presidential candidate, while 44 percent would be most likely to vote for the candidate who “best represents” a voter’s values.

If DeSantis fights back and wins he has an additional supporter. But, Trump at most is inflicting flesh wounds. The Dems, mainstream media, and press are going to do a 1,000 times worse.
DeSantis and his supporters need to grow a tough skin. And of course, he needs to fight back hard to prove he can.

Add in DeLoser’s 20% and Trump is above 70%. DeLoser needs to drop out, oh wait “he’s not running”.

The polls Trump cited last night in Florida were quite different from this one and match all the other polls.

Yes, we do live in extreme times and those times may require we vote for someone other than our first choice. There is nothing more important than ensuring our next President isn’t a democrat. So, yes, support Trump with all your being but if it becomes apparent that further Trump support means another Biden term, then support someone else.
BTW, you’re supporting a narrative when you believe any candidate is more important than the country.
