In my view, as I’ve said for years, the “proud boys” never looked real.
Consistent with this hypothesis, they’re now going anti-Trump.

So, all of the defense lawyers reach for the only political narrative they have ever known - "Trump is evil. Therefore, my client is completely innocent."
