A year from now we will be in a depression, Ukraine will be lost, Taiwan on the edge of being invaded.

We'll be in a weird recession, different from any previous one, but it won't be felt because the job market will still be strong as Boomers retire and die.

Ukraine and Taiwan? Do you think the average American voter gives two sh*ts about these places other than posting "I stand with Ukraine" flags on their social media profiles?

>> Other polls have shown Trump performs better than DeSantis against Biden in all these states. <<

You don’t understand what this data is, then. It is the compilation of ALL polls. Some probably do say Trump is doing better in some states, but most say DeSantis is doing better.

Well, you’re probably right.

Gue$$ it’$ ju$t down to De$anti$ lining up enough deep pocket$ so he can AFFORD to run.

Nobody knows what DeSantics national or foreign policies would be, because he’s been stalling and not talking to the press nor taking any questions from anyone on his positions.

So, these polls are pretty much meaningless at juncture as this could all change as the economy continues to tank and legal issues for President Trump, Biden and DeSantics continue to play out.

What utter nonsense...

There is only one “poll” that has any possible meaning:
IMHO, there is a 80-to-90 percent probability that George Soros will win all battleground states handily...

He, undoubtedly, has all the ballots printed, voted, counted, packed, and ready for distribution where necessary...

He has accomplished this in all recent presidential elections (2008, 2012, 2020) except 2016...
Practice, and serf ignorance, makes for perfection...

In addition to the Soros factor, we can expect the number of migrant invader vermin voting to surge from the 2020 3-to-5 million level to a 10-20 million level...
There is nothing in place in any of the battleground states or “blue” states to stop them...

Buh-bye, zotbait.

Buh-bye, zotbait.

LOL!

Trump is trying to take credit for the safe bet races of people like Rubio, Grassley, and Rand Paul when he talks about his "93% winning endorsements!" but the real test is how did Trump's picks do in the swing states he lost in 2020 but will need to win in 2024 if he wants to have a shot?

Let's take a look at Trump's "hand-picked" endorsements (not the people running in safe seats who would've won no matter what):

Governors:

Lombardo: W
Lake: L
Mastriano: L
Michels: L
Dixon: L
Perdue: L
Abrams: L (Let's not forget Trump endorsed Stacey Abrams.)

Senate:

Johnson: W
Walker: L
Masters: L
Oz: L
Laxalt: L
Bolduc: L

Secretaries of State:

Finchem: L
Karamo: L
Marchant: L
Hice: L

These are the critical swing states Trump needs to win and the voters in these swing states were not buying what Trump was selling.

These voters absolutely rejected Donald Trump and if people can't see that, I can't help.

I'll repeat it for clarity: Swing state voters absolutely rejected Donald Trump.

And these are going to be the same voters in '24.

We know he's not going to hemorrhage hundreds of billions in Ukraine because he's said as much.

He later said some not nice words about Putin which people here interpreted as a full-throated commitment towards Zelenski's war effort.

Unhappily, I agree with your analysis. The number of deeply STUPID, disconnected-from-reality and not learning voters is terrifying. Public education and cell phone indoctrination has done its job. The Gen-Z, including my very intelligent daughter, have no connection to the real world. And they get to vote.

Yeah, so even though Trump won by a landslide you’re taken in by these liars and fraudsters?

Sad.

Sad is thinking trump (or anyone really) can bet them after NOTHING has changed.

I’d be happy to have trump as president or DeSantis..

Heck even a rino is slightly better than the Democrat.

But.. we will end up with the Democrat. I hope I am wrong.

Also don’t trust any polling. Even polling that says your guy is winning.

Those same voters will also reject Mr DeSantis.

Mr DeSantis might be the most over hyped and overrated political figure I’ve ever observed.

The Gen-Z, including my very intelligent daughter, have no connection to the real world. And they get to vote.

Gen-Z is gonna be the death of this country.

In a way, I can't blame them. The previous generations handed them a giant turd sandwich and now they are poised to deliver their retribution.

They exist today in nihilism with dead-end jobs, useless college degrees that costed fortunes, little hope for starting families, buying homes, and accumulating wealth. As such, they occupy their time with porn, social media, video games, and other meaningless idle pursuits. Perpetual adolescence.

A lot of people here don't understand. Unlike previous young generations who don't show up to the polls, Gen-Z discovered voting was easy and they enjoyed doing it. They'll be out in force in 2024.

And they hate Trump, they hate Republicans. They've been energized by Dobbs. They've bought into every far-left platform. Terrorized by the fear of climate change to the point of seeking therapy for their "climate anxiety" they will vote our energy policies into the Dark Ages. Inundated with one school shooting after the next, they'll support every gun control effort that gains legs. Brainwashed by woke inclusivity, they'll happily vote for the evisceration of the First Amendment and freedom of speech.

And as you and I said before, they're going to vote for all of this stuff in mass droves.

Another whining article by Sundance at the “Conservative” Treehouse.

Yes, Ron DeSantis is good at winning elections and advancing conservatism but when it comes to the art of glad-handed politicking, Trump has him beat.

He needs to step up his game.
