Former President Donald Trump is considering skipping at least some of the 2024 Republican primary debates, the New York Times reported, citing five people who have discussed the matter with Trump.
Last month, Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced the first two debates of the GOP presidential primary season. First will be a Fox News-hosted debate in August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, followed by a second debate in Southern California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

If I were a candidate I would seriously consider refusing. They are not debates.

His debates are entertaining but not necessarily enlightening. Trumps core business principles need to be shared. The US needs common sense reaffirming.

He'll come out Strong because he's actually got BACK-UP from his previous time as President!
He did what he said and got it done!
Promises made and promises kept throughout his presidency and never took a salary as president but gave it back to all that needed it....legally!
No other President can claim this!
He can Rally and debate anywhere and Trump will still be a leader because he put and still puts Americans First!

Why? Nobody watches CNN. But, no. They are biased.
The only way I do a debate if I am a candidate is if the candidates are in separate faraday cage rooms with a video feed and unable to hear the other candidate’s answer. The only other person in room is a representative of the other campaign to ensure that the candidate does not cheat with either notes or electronically. This would take care of ear pieces and other forms of electronic cheating.
Six questions would be asked. Four would be agreed upon before hand. The other two would be supplied by each campaign, one each. The Candidates would have 3 minutes to answer each question at the end of that time their mike is cut off.
After asking the question the host mike would be cut so he/she/it/they cannot interrupt.
That would be my required format.
He should be afraid of people that would kill him if they could!

No! Trump does not like the likes of Wallace & Megyn as hosts from Fox in the past..
Didn’t they used to do that with the beauty pageant contestants?
Was it Miss America or Miss Universe?
Anyway, it was very entertaining.
