Republicans are blasting President Biden for leaving Washington for Asia on Wednesday without significant progress on debt limit negotiations, as the country inches toward a deadline on defaulting that could prove catastrophic on the financial system.
Biden will be in Japan for this weekend’s Group of Seven (G-7) summit but has canceled the latter portion of his trip, which included stops in Papua New Guinea and Australia, to be back in the nation’s capital and resume talks with congressional leaders.

What difference does it make where Biden is??? It is not like he is the one who makes any decisions, not like he is the one to debate over and make policy. Instead of whining about where the puppet goes, they should make a point of showing who the puppet master(s) is (are) and bring the ‘fight’ to them.
Even though we all know that ‘the fight’ is all for show, and the GOP will once again pass whatever continuing resolution or whatever it takes to increase the debt limit to whatever the shadow government wants.
Hey, give him a break. He probably heard they are opening a new cream stand in Tokyo and needed to be the first customer to sample all it’s flavors.
Biden just HAS to get to Hiroshima to offer a groveling apology for the US bombing, and to accuse Russia of planning to start a nuclear war over Ukraine.
Watch for it
Joe’s face time is very limited. The drugs that keep him sort of coherent, or at least able to say recognizable words only keep him going for a few hours, then he has to go back into the closet.
