…shortages are so acute that they are commanding the attention of the White House and Congress…Biden administration has assembled a team to find long-term solutions for shoring up the pharmaceutical supply chain

Butt Forker will get to the bottom of it. He’s our supply chain expert.

This will be the new normal once Democrats gain permanent control of the White House and Congress. Shortages of everything, everywhere.

Unless you’ve one of the elite, of course. They’ll be fine.

Funny how Socialism leads to shortages. It’s a shame people don’t learn.

Its the 1970s - only MUCH worse

The USA is in desperate need of another supply-side, anti-regulation, Reagan-style revolution

But I am very skeptical it can happen. America’s neo-marxists have far more power and control than ever before, power is far more centralized in DC than it ever was in the 1970s. Our FBI and CIA are weaponized as KGB-style organizations

This horse left the barn a long, long time ago, but yeah, oatmeal boy Biden is just now leaping into action. What a joke.

China.

The next time you go to the doctor or hospital, poke around a little and see how many things are made in China and other places. This is a very serious national security threat. If China decides to slow or halt pharmaceuticals and medical device sales, a very large number of people taking life sustaining medications or procedures are at risk of dying very quickly.

But maybe it’s not a national security threat. Everything is upside down. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a serious threat, but the world’s invasion of the southern border isn’t. America is being dominated by imbeciles.

When you move every freeloader in the western hemisphere to the United States so they can vote for the Socialist RATS, bad sh*t is going to happen.

Hundreds of drugs are on the list of medications in short supply in the United States.

Gee, it couldn't be that we have 7 million ILLEGALS sucking up everything from A-Z.

Tell Biden the drugs are for Ukraine. We’ll have shipments here tomorrow.

Just about the only drug without a shortage is Fentanyl.

Unsurprisingly, that is also from China.

I’m on two heretofore very common blood-pressure medications. For about the last six months, every time I put in for a refill, I have to wait a 2-3 weeks for them to get them back in stock, and even then, I often only get about half the amount that is prescribed.

Go cross the boarder and you can find all the over the counter medications you want. AND YOU AINT GOT TO KISS ANYONES ASS TO PURCHASE THEM.

Many prescription meds can be simply picked up like our shelf medications here.

80% of all our drugs are made in India and China and there aren’t any shortages over there. I buy some of my drugs in India as they are much cheaper.

Example, I have to go to a newer diabetes drug, here my monthly co-pay would be about $100 a month, $1200 a year. In India I can buy a year’s supply, same drug and manufacturer for about $300, no insurance or doctor’s prescription needed.

Most people will go to the trouble to source out new places, just continue to get raped by Big Pharma here. The prices in India are even better than Canada. The key os planning ahead on your supply needs.

During the Covid scare and there was no way to get Ivermectin or HCQ, I got all I wanted from India along with Budesonide Inhalers, $300 a pop here. I was totally prepared for any family or close friends who might need help. The amount of money I spent was almost nothing for the Peace of Mind I had knowing I was prepared.

A designed event. Read the Oxycontin settlement carefully. In the settlement, many drugs were defined and production was to be diminished to near zero. That’s your government doing crap behind your back, then claiming they know nothing about it.

https://www.amazon.com/China-Rx-Exposing-Americas-Dependence/dp/1633883817

“China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine”

“Millions of Americans are taking prescription drugs made in China and don’t know it—and pharmaceutical companies are not eager to tell them. This is a disturbing, well-researched wake-up call for improving the current system of drug supply and manufacturing.

Several decades ago, penicillin, vitamin C, and many other prescription and over-the-counter products were manufactured in the United States. But with the rise of globalization, antibiotics, antidepressants, birth control pills, blood pressure medicines, cancer drugs, among many others are made in China and sold in the United States. China’s biggest impact on the US drug supply is making essential ingredients for thousands of medicines found in American homes and used in hospital intensive care units and operating rooms.

The authors convincingly argue that there are at least two major problems with this scenario. First, it is inherently risky for the United States to become dependent on any one country as a source for vital medicines, especially given the uncertainties of geopolitics. For example, if an altercation in the South China Sea causes military personnel to be wounded, doctors may rely upon medicines with essential ingredients made by the adversary.

Second, lapses in safety standards and quality control in Chinese manufacturing are a risk. Citing the concerns of FDA officials and insiders within the pharmaceutical industry, the authors document incidents of illness and death caused by contaminated medications that prompted reform. This probing book examines the implications of our reliance on China on the quality and availability of vital medicines.

“commanding the attention of the White House and Congress”

Whew. Chomo Joe and the democrats are on the case. Problem solved. No worries.

And besides. Bernie said food lines, in this case medicine lines, are a good thing.
