It’s not plausible deniability. MAPs absolutely want to link themselves with the broader acceptance of gays and lesbians just like transgenders have tried until they have taken over the lgb bullhorn. That doesn’t mean adults who are lgb want to be identified with MAPs. There’s much unhappiness among lgb with transgender militants trying to cash in and muddle and confuse things.

Drag might be a gay tradition and performance art but it is not transgender, neither is fetishized cross dressing. Gay men aren’t women trapped in a man’s body although that’s been an angle of attack for years. Transgender activists are drowning and co-opting progress made by women as well as lgb.

The “what is a women anyway” childhood consent for genital mutilation crowd are muddying the waters to the point where it makes sense for MAP and their advocates to see an opportunity for broader acceptance and make their move while denying it’s happening. We’re in real trouble culturally.

There’s an alarming number of victims in the gay community but there are also those who are not. I think there’s a mix of things behind sexuality including elements of nature and nurture. Heterosexual populations in prison will practice homosexual acts to have an outlet. Drunk flies will go homosexual as well. If you are an evolutionist, you could see advantages of some members of a population being homosexual because it reduces competition for mates yet provides more people in the community to support and protect it. They also might be surviving unhealthy individuals but be genetic dead ends. Homosexuality would reduce the likelihood of their procreation.

None of this is justification for discrimination and we shouldn’t stop looking for the causes of homosexuality—there’s likely more than one—just because it is recognized as a variant.

As an enlightened society based on individual liberty, we can accept and tolerate a rich diversity among adults in the community but we must protect children so they can grow into adults free to trail-blaze their own paths. The corrupt cult of gender affirmative care opens the gate to sexualizing children and legitimizing pedophilia. Social media has absolutely turned transgenderism into a fad through propaganda.
