On May 9, the Connecticut House of Representatives passed a bill that would effectively expand the definition of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation to include “discrimination” against so-called “minor-attracted persons.”
H.B. 6638, also known as “An Act Revising the State’s Antidiscrimination Statutes,” passed by a landslide margin of 132-17, with two members absent from the vote. A significant majority of the state’s 53 House Republicans voted in favor of the bill.
The state’s House Democratic caucus described the bill as seeking to “modernize and improve consistency in” the state’s “discrimination statutes.” The Connecticut American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which supports the bill, used similar language, stating that “it modernizes the existing definition of sexual orientation, moving away from thirty-year-old outdated and offensive terminology.”

this “updated” definition would by extension allow the state to aid and abet pedophilic predators.
The Family Institute of Connecticut has termed H.B. 6638 the “Pedophile Anti-Discrimination Bill.” One week after the controversial bill passed in the state House, the non-profit stated that if the legislation were enacted, it would change the state’s legal definition of “sexual orientation”

Family Institute of Connecticut argues that “even people with sexual attractions like pedophilia and nepiophilia would be protected from discrimination,” although “the associated behavior” would remain criminal, because the bill “would not legalize those crimes.”

The bill has yet to be voted on by the state Senate. If it passes in the upper chamber, it will head to the desk of Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont, who has a record of being a consistent promoter of the LGBTQ movement.
The Pedophile Protection Act.
Why would they want to normalize pedophilia... unless the were pedophiles...
Annnnnnd there it is. Just the first.
We need discrimination against progressives.
Just wait until it is their children being raped by pedophiles, in fact, they need to offer an amendment to the bill that specifically allows the children of PUBLIC EMPLOYEE’S to be RAPED
Come on! This is satire, right?
Yep. A very sad day for this nation! Connecticut is spitting in the face of God and this nation.
Baby rapers protecting other baby rapers. This could backfire. It is going to create even more hate and intolerance.
So pedophiles get special protections now? Good thing I don’t live in Connecticut.
So, even thouhg it is “still illegal” ( but who knows for how much longer-libs want it legalized), it’s now a “hate crime” to speak out agaisnt the most vile sin known to man practically.
pedophiles have no redeeming qualities...
they cannot be rehabilitated...
Kill them.
And those that support and enable them
How long before Connecticut lowers the age of consent?
Parents with children or expecting to have children, should all move out of Connecticut. If a child is assaulted by a pedophile or minor attracted person, the parent won’t have a leg to stand on. It would be the parent that is liable for allowing the child in a hostile environment, but, it would no longer be, by definition in the new law, a hostile environment. It would be legal for a predator to go after kids. It would be the parents’ fault if a child is harmed.
Aaaannnndd if gays weren’t pedophiles, why would being a pro lgbtq gov have anything to do with being supportive of the bill?.
It’s like saying I am a lawyer but not an attorney. There is a difference, but most people, including lawyers don’t know what it is.
Is beastiality next?
They have been pushing for this kind of change in the laws for years. No surprise that the North east goes to the pedos .
Then the pearl clutching when it happens with the "natiin of laws" bromide. The pearl clutchers don't really adhere to it, they just try to con as many as they can.
But once that jungle law takes hold, the pearl clutching won't matter. And that is a day I hope no one wants to see.
