My nephew who just started his IDF duty has been broken hearted by the Ukrainian Jewish girls who recently made Aliyah to Israel.

So much so he’s taken a few home to stay with him just for the evening.

Not exactly up to mom’s standards, or his rabbi, but soldiers are soldiers.

I read the Polish press every day, which includes a lot of news from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The notion that the Eastern Europeans or Scandinavians are pushing for Zelensky to go is pure, unadulterated bullcrap.

Of course I realize that governments say things privately they won't say to the press. But opposing Zelensky would such a volte face it would opposed by some in government who would leak it. These are also democracies, so a position this unpopular would tend to be leaked anyway to run up the flag pole to change public opinion. But I don't see any sign of that in their media, which, btw, is far freer than our is.

The Eastern Europeans and Scandinavians are the biggest boosters of Ukraine in Europe, so I can't see them making such a change. Hersh also has a 50 year history of saying anything to sabotage the US, which gives him a strong confirmation bias regarding any story damaging to the US.

These women are very beautiful and smart.

Not particularly anyone I’d want in my family, though.

Traditional morals are curiously absent. They are technically Jewish, but act like libertines.

Not that my nephew is much better, currently.

He was raised right and will come around.
